I’m excited to be creating an artistic “happening” on Main Beach in East Hampton this Sunday. The work is part of “Swept Away,” a multi-artist event organized by my friend Warren Neidich and sponsored by Guild Hall.
While many of you know me through my yoga teaching, art was my first love. In the past decade, I have created commissioned artworks for The Nature Conservancy, The Group for the East End, the Boston Harbor Association, and others. Much of my work addresses environmental issues, what we now call Climate Change.
Sunday’s artwork will be a 20-minute performance/temporary installation, created onsite and dissolved afterward. Come on down and join in this elevated fun! You’ll also be treated to imaginative creations by 20 other local and national artists.
