Teachers and Practitioners on How Yoga Enriches, Surprises, and Heals Us

How We Live Our Yoga collects 14 frank, moving, and thoughtful personal essays by passionate yoga practitioners on why they began to practice, what it has brought to their lives, how their relationship to yoga changes and evolves, and more. Lois gets real about the personal turmoil that landed her on the mat and the practice that transformed her life from the inside out.

Hip Op: Beyond Recovery

Hip Op: Beyond Recovery tells not just the outer story but the transformative power of facing one’s limits and one’s mortality. Lois emerged a more connected, more empathic, and more grateful human being. Not a day goes by when she doesn’t thank God she can walk again, and she never passes up an opportunity to help anyone in need. Oh, and students still seek out her instruction on the practice and wisdom of yoga!
