in Lois’s spacious “studio” home near East Hampton Village
Yoga teachers and students who want to learn more about how and why we do hands-on adjustments in yoga classes are invited to join Lois to:
discuss who, when, how, and why to touch students;
consider when it’s best not to touch;
learn how to use your eyes to see before adjusting;
contemplate when it’s appropriate to ask students to do partner adjustments,
explore how to adjust bodies of different sizes and shapes;
practice adjusting in all kinds of yoga;
investigate adjustments for dozens of poses by adjusting each other to feel your way to optimal alignment
…and leave feeling like you’ve had a full-body massage!
payable in advance by Venmo or Paypal; at the door by cash or check.
Directions will be provided with registration.
