This delightful workshop is open to all yoga teachers and students who want to learn more about how and why we do hands-on adjustments in yoga classes. We will practice adjusting in all kinds of yoga, leaving you feeling like you’ve had a full-body massage!
We’ll discuss who, when, how, and why to touch students, how to use your eyes to see before adjusting, adjustments for dozens of poses, and more. You will learn how to safely and effectively adjust each other to feel your way towards optimal alignment. We’ll explore how to adjust bodies of different sizes and shapes, when it’s appropriate to ask students to do partner adjustments, and when it’s best not to touch.
